Blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid surgery) What is Blepharoplasty? Eyelid surgery is a type of plastic surgery for correcting defects in the eyelids or enhancing upper or lower eyelids’ appearance. Also called blepharoplasty or eye lift surgery, eyelid surgery can correct a number of issues in the area surrounding the eyes, including sagging skin above the upper eyelids, puffiness, bags under the eyes, etc. What happens during this procedure? Blepharoplasty can take from one to three hours and is performed under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Incisions are made in the areas where the resulting scars would be the least noticeable, either in the creases of the upper eyelids or below the lower lash lines. Excess skin or fat is removed, and sutures are applied. What is the cost and what’s included? There are different options for this surgery depending on your suitability. The prices are as follows – Upper eyelid surgery – €2,200. (1 night hospital stay- No hotel stay) Lower eyelid surgery – €2,200. (1 night hospital stay – No hotel stay) Upper and Lower eyelid surgery – €2,940. (1 Night hospital stay and 1 night hotel stay included.).
