We will NEVER, EVER, put your health at risk. Not only are we building our reputation as the elit in customer service, but even more so we want our name, ‘Prime Health Concept’, to be synonymous with that of our clients’ health safety.
You will have sooo many pre-operative tests, and consultations with specialist doctors, in order that everyone within the medical team is assured of your suitable for the medical procedure that you wish to have.
Unfortunately, on rare occasions the tests/examinations flag up health conditions that prevent clients from receiving their medical procedure
– usually only for the immediate short term. This means that their surgery is delayed while the relevant specialist doctor solves the problem, here in the hospital/Turkey. After a short period they are then cleared to have the surgery.
NB: Please note that if your surgery is delayed under such circumstances, you will NOT be charged any extra fees for your extended stay, nor for any further non-surgical medical treatment or tests that you receive!!!
Our main concern is that you are fit for surgery and no risks whatsoever are taken with your health.
In the unfortunate case where longer term treatment is required to solve the issue, the client returns home for this and they have their surgery money returned. Once the problem has been solved they are able to return to us at a later date for the surgery of their choice.

Some would love to bring a companion but feel the extra cost is too prohibitive. The fact that we have ensured that you do not have to add the cost of a hotel, or hospital, room to your overall costings we hope will be of help in your decision making process. NB: We would like you to note that many people come to have a medical procedure on their own. To assist you with your decision (whether to have the medical procedure that you are considering), we can arrange for you to have a FREE video consultation with a surgeon of your choice (bariatric/sleeve; dental; eye; hair transplant; ivf; botox; etc.). One of our Personal Assistant/Carers [PAC] will be there to translate for you if necessary. If you decide to avail yourself of this service we wish to stress to you that you are under no obligation to book through us, and we promise NO pressure will be placed upon you to do so – all we ask in return is that you speak well of our service to others. What are the benefits of this to you? i) Hopefully, meeting with your surgeon will help you with your decision making process. ii) It will also give you the opportunity to ask any medical questions specifically related to your personal circumstances and health – the answer to which you may not be able to find on the internet. iii) In addition, you will also meet with one of our Personal Assistants/Carers [PAC]. We are the only company that has an Arrivals’ Stand inside the airport. We provide this as there are distressing stories of people arriving at the airport and are unable to find their contact, or transport, etc. At this stage they are probably stressed from travelling alone for so many hours, maybe anxious about their forthcoming medical procedure, etc. AND then, to crown it all off, they are left wandering aimlessly at the airport, not knowing what on earth is going to happen now.
All of this would obviously add to their mayriad of stressed/anxious feelings. We cannot help you with your stress and tiredness from travelling, but what we can do is ensure that the above will NEVER happens to you. How do we do this? We have placed our Stand just in front of the doors that you will walk through as you enter the Arrivals’ Area. As the doors open you will see our Stand right in front of you. In addition to our Arrivals’ Stand, we are the only medical tourism company that has been given an office/luxury lounge actually inside the airport – no other company has been given this right by the airport authorities – not only in İzmir, but also from the central authority in the capital, Ankara. Rhianne (the owner) is so well known and respected in this field, and in this region of Turkey, that Prime Health Concept have been given permission for this.
What are the benefits of this to you? To understand the benefits of this to you, first you need you understand the alternative that happens once a client arrives at the airport: Please note that cars are not allowed to wait outside the airport entrance (for security reasons). Once a client has been able to find their ‘contact’, or pick-up person, they will either walk with them to the car park, and then through the levels, etc. to reach their transport, OR they must wait outside for their contact to go to the car park to collect their car. Furthermore, security are not happy for people to be just standing around waiting. AND, all of this: in the heat of the summer, or cold of the winter, or it could even be miserable with rain, AND while you are feeling stressed and tired from travelling for so many hours and alone, AND all of these on top of your feelings of anxiety concerning your future medical procedure (whatever it may be), AND, in additional to all this, most people arrive at night – making the total experience even more unpleasant! BUT, this will NOT happen to YOU – As part of your Prime Health Concept’s ‘First Class’ service, this will be your experience: Once you have met with one of our staff at the Arrivals’ Stand (as described in No. 4), they will ascort you to our luxury lounge – only about 12 metres/36 feet away There you will relax in comfort, with drinks and snacks, for your transport to be brought to the door When you leave your car will be there waiting for you. As you can see, we have designed our service, in numerous ways, to ensure that your experience with us is as stress-free and comfortable as possible. Having an office with a luxury lounge, in a promanent position in the airport, is just one of these ways that we do this.
We are the only company that have an office on each floor of the hospital that you will receive treatment in. It is staffed around the clock – our Personal Assistance-Carers & Translators are there for you 27/7. They will not only translate, take you through all your pre-op tests, be you emotional support if/when necessary, etc., but they are also there if you just want a chat and even to have a laugh with ☺.
Medical tourism companies’ representative either do NOT remain in the hospital overnight, but go off premises to sleep elsewhere, or they sit around in the corridors – not a very inspiring element to the job, whichever one, for any company’s carers staff. In addition, this first scenario where the representative sleps off premises is not very reassuring for the client if they need help during the night and they have no translator immediately available

We are the only medical tourism company where one of our Personal Assistance-Carers [PA-C] accompanies you all the way into the operating theatre – where they stay with you until you are asleep. Afterwards, they are once again by your side, holding your hand, when you are woken up in the theatre by your surgeon and anaesthetist – AND, once again we are the only company that does this The usual routine regarding any surgical treatment is as follows:
A patient is taken into the operating theatre awake – sedated, but still awake After the procedure/surgery is finished, the surgeon, alongside the anaesthetist, wakes the patient up while they are still in the theatre and then immediately puts them back to sleep The patient is then taken to the recovery room where they continue to sleep off their anaesthetic for approximately two hours After this time they are woken up, checked over again, and then returned to their room
The system with other medical tourism companies is that their representative leaves their client outside the theatre’s doors – and they do not see them again until they are woken up in the recovery room. With some companies, their clients will not see their representative until they are back in their rooms.

What happens when you are a client of Prime Health Concept: i) When you go into the operating theatre you are still awake – sedated, but still awake AND our PA-C will stays right by your side, and stay by your side until you are completely asleep. Why do we do this? If you are in England, this situation is not so daunting as everyone around you is speaking English. However, in Turkey the medical team obviously speaks in Turkish, and although some of them may be trying to reassure you they will be doing so in Turkish. This can feel very isolating, even frightening and lonely, even for the strongest of characters. In addition, if you want to ask a question you have to hope that someone will be able to understand you. BUT when you are with us, we stay with you, even holding your hand if you wish, talking to you, telling you what is happening – as it is happening, answering your questions, acting as a translator between you and the medical team, etc. In this way we are able to give you extra reassurance, ensure that you do not feel so isolated, and do our very best to make your experience as easy as possible.
ii) You will be woken up by your surgeon and anaesthetist while you are stil in the theatre, before they take you to the recovery room. Your PA-C will return to the theatre BEFORE they wake you up. For some, the experience of being woken up in a surgical theatre can be very disorientating, and therefore frightening. Having a familiar face and voice in this situation will provide you with support and reassurance that you are being cared for, and we are looking out for you.
iii) You are then put back to sleep and eventually taken to the recovery room. Approximately two hours later, while still in the recovery room you are re-awoken, and once again the first face that you will see, and the first voice that you will hear, will be ours. We stay by your side until you have fully come round, and then we accompany you to your room. Please, always remember that we are not employed by the hospital – we are your agent, “we have your back” , we provide you with whatever assistance that you need, and we will NEVER leave your side during such [possible] nerve-racking occasions.

* every specialist doctor (cardiologist, endocrinologist, etc.) that you will be examined by, and whose responsibility it will be to make sure that you are ‘fit for surgery’ (4)

The research methods we used while investigating the above medical facilities & personnel:
* read every review and article written about each of them
* read social media comments
* checked the complete history of such medical personnel – where they trained, when they qualified, how many years of experience, how many surgeries, etc. etc.
* checked all of these with the Medical Standards Authority of Turkey to ensure that they did not have any complaints against them
* messaged/spoke to numerous patients

The best nursing care. Just as we create the best surgical teams, we also ensure that the best, most professional, and the most respected, head nurses/ward sisters, are placed on YOUR floor What are the benefits of this to you? i) Senior nurses/ward sisters are the ones that set the nursing standards and expectations for all nurses working on your floor. Therefore by ensuring that your floor has the best, most professional ward sister, you can be assured that you receive the highest standards of nursing care. ii) After your procedure is completed you are taken from the theatre to the post-op room. It is here that you are cared for as you come round from your anaesthetic and become fully conscious. This is one of the reasons that we established an office/lounge in the hotel that you can visit at anytime. Our office/lounge is not just a place to go if you have a concern, ir wish to ask a question – it is also a place to relax and have a chat. In fact, you will likely be doing our PA-C a favour as they will probably welcome your company! iii) If a medical tourism client experiences a problem, or has a concern, while they are no longer a patient in the hospital, such issues must be dealt with over the phone. In addition, if such a issue should occur in the evening/early hours of the morning, people often feel uncomfortable making that telephone call. Our office is staffed 24/7 – they are there for you!
We have a specialist team that are solely focused on providing an unrivalled aftercare service. ALL our Aftercare Advisors have had medical procedures themselves. v) It can often feel quite isolating to go through an experience that no one around you has experienced for themselves. Because their own medical past experiences, our Aftercare Advisors can more easily empathise with you.

Medical check ups with your surgeon via video – take the gastric sleeve procedure as an example – 1/3/6 and 12 months after your procedure, you will have medical check-ups. With other medical tourism companies the usually method is that . . the client obtains blood tests from their GP back home and then sends the results to the company’s administrator. They then pass them to the surgeon, who analyses them. The surgeon then gives their recommendations/feedback to the administrator, who hen relays the information back to the client. This is such a disassociated, impersonal method. So we, at ‘Prime Health Concept’, offer you the choice of two different, more personal, methods of medical check-ups: a) you can have a video consultation with your surgeon with one of our Personal Assistant/Carers (PACs) as your translator. In this way you can ask any questions you may have directly to them, OR, if you do not wish, or are unable, to attend a video consultation, b) we can video your surgeon’s analysation, and advice, with again one of our Personal Assistant/Carers (PACs) acting as a translator, and send the video to you. You can send any questions that you wish to ask your surgeon to us, and our PAC will ask them on your behalf and the answers will be recorded on the video. In addition, if you return to Turkey, for whatever reason (holiday, business, etc.), during the next 24 months you can have a full post-op medical check-up (full blood test panel and ………?????) AND a face to face consultation with your surgeon. Once again, one of our Personal Assistant/Carers with be with you throughout all of this. In the extreme circumstance that you require it, we are the only company that can provide you with medical support in the UK, where we have an agreement with a private surgical clinic If you experience a problem that concerns you, and you are unable to get sympathetic treatment from your doctor, we will refer you to the surgical clinic that we have an agreement with in the UK. What are the benefits of this to you? i) The medical teams at this faculty will run a full series of tests – some of which will be done ‘live’ where your Turkish surgeon will be in attendance – Oh! the wonder of technology. One such test, in the case of the Gastric Sleeve procedure, will be the endoscopy so that your surgeon (in Turkey) will be able to see exactly what is happening in your stomach. ii) If it is deemed necessary for you to return to Turkey for further treatment, we will pay for your flights, and of course your hospital stay, medication and treatment will be FREE!

The extra activities that we can arrange for you are NB: please note that our organisational services for the following activities are FREE to you, BUT there are various extra charges involved with each one. * Wash and blow dry at a much cheaper cost than back home. The hair dresser visits you in your room. * Manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, etc. at a much cheaper cost than back home. Again the nail technician will visit you in your room. * Botox – you will be taken from the hospital to the medical facility, where a translator will be there to assist you. * Teeth whitening – you will be taken from the hospital to the dental facility, where a translator will be there to assist you. NB: As part of the services that we provide we can arrange many other dental treatments BUT they MUST be book before you come to Turkey * SHOPPING at a local Turkish pazaar! For all you shopaholics out there this experience is a dream. There are numerous Turkish shopping pazaars in various locations around İzmir (different days – different location – AND the smallest one has over 100 market stalls!!!). You can go with, or without, a translator who will also bargain/barter on your behalf! For those that have the gastric sleeve procedure – we can arrange for you to have botox or teeth whitening two days after your procedure, AND you can go shopping three days after it. We do plan on adding further activities to our list so please contact a member of our Admin Team to get a full up to date list with prices. Also, if you want to stay longer in Turkey and make a little bit of a holiday out of your trip, if you wish we can arrange for you to get preferential rates with the hotel that we use (gastric sleeve clients receive one night FREE, after discharge, at the hotel).
